Job summary

Snicket Labs is a fully remote UK-based company seeking an automated QA engineer to design and scale comprehensive test suites for our SaaS platform. The role embeds testing at the center of the development lifecycle, pushing quality control left into CI/CD and leveraging AI-assisted workflows.

You will build automated frameworks for frontend, backend, and database layers, integrate tests into pipelines, and drive performance testing strategies while collaborating across product and engineering

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a QA role or similar in a professional environment.
• Experience shifting testing left by integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6, Locust) and load testing strategies.
• Experience using AI/LLM tooling to assist test work.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable automated test suites across frontend, backend, and multi-tenant databases.
• Integrate automated regression, integration, and end-to-end tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, etc).
• Plan and execute performance, load, and stress testing strategies.
• Collaborate with product management and developers to translate user stories into test scenarios.
• Utilize AI/LLM tools to generate tests, synthesize data, and refine test scripts.
• Maintain clear test documentation and coding standards.
