Job Description:

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our rapidly expanding team dedicated to decarbonising buildings and construction, which currently accounts for approximately 40% of global carbon emissions.

Our business is growing nearly twice each year, and you will be instrumental in this growth within the architecture, engineering, & construction (AEC) and manufacturing sectors. Join us in shaping a zero-carbon future.

Your role involves identifying new business opportunities and understanding customer needs to help them succeed with our software. This outbound sales position focuses on engaging with existing and potential clients to broaden our market presence across the UK and Ireland.

You will be part of a supportive, mission-driven team working in a flexible, friendly environment, utilizing cutting-edge tools and collaborating with top professionals worldwide to address one of the world's biggest challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and close strategic new business sales in the UK and Ireland.
• Expand offerings related to LCA and Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) tools in the AEC and manufacturing sectors.
• Stay updated on developments in LCA and EPD standards, PCRs, and practices.
• Educate prospects on the value of LCA tools, EPD, and low-carbon construction.
• Support the development of our LCA software products as needed.
• Attend industry events across the UK and Ireland as required.

Requirements:

• Demonstrate a hunter mentality in sales approach.
• Minimum 12 months of experience as an SDR in a B2B SaaS sales environment, aiming to progress to a BDM role.
• Ability and motivation to maximize the potential of the assigned territory.
• Desire to help others succeed and find solutions to obstacles.
• Preferably, understanding of LCA/EPD and their significance in construction/manufacturing industries.
• Fast learner with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Customer- and results-oriented with a hands-on approach.
• Curious and able to understand clients' perspectives.
• Fluent in English, as it is the working language.
