Job Description:

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our fast-growing team, working to decarbonise buildings and construction, which currently accounts for around 40% of global carbon emissions.

Our business is close to doubling each year, and you will play a pivotal role in this growth within the architecture, engineering & construction (AEC) and Manufacturing sectors. Join us to help develop a business that contributes to a zero-carbon future for all.

Your responsibilities include identifying new opportunities, understanding customer needs, and helping clients find solutions that ensure their success with our software. This is an outbound sales role focused on engaging with both existing and potential customers to expand our market presence across the UK and Ireland.

You will be part of a supportive, effective, and mission-driven team in a flexible and friendly work environment, working with cutting-edge tools and a team of world-class professionals globally to address one of the world’s most significant challenges.

What you will do:

1. Hunt and close strategic new business sales in the UK and Ireland
2. Expand the offering of LCA and Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) tools in the AEC and Manufacturing sectors
3. Stay updated on developments around LCA and EPD standards, PCRs, and practices
4. Educate prospects on the value and opportunities of LCA tools, EPD, and low-carbon construction
5. Support our LCA software product development as needed
6. Attend industry events around the UK and Ireland when necessary

What you need:

1. You must demonstrate a hunter mentality in your sales approach
2. At least 12 months of experience as an SDR within a B2B SaaS sales environment, with readiness to transition into a BDM role
3. Ability and motivation to maximize the potential of the assigned territory
4. Motivation to help others succeed and to find solutions to obstacles
5. Preferably, understanding of LCA/EPD and their significance in construction and manufacturing industries
6. Fast learning skills and a desire for continuous improvement
7. Customer- and results-oriented attitude with a hands-on approach
8. Curiosity and ability to understand clients’ perspectives
9. Fluency in English, as it is the working language
