Microsoft Security Business Development Manager x3

We are seeking motivated Security Business Development Managers to join a global Microsoft-first Security Solutions Partner and MISA Awards Finalist. This role involves building their Security Business Development and Account Management team, focusing on multi-vendor Microsoft security services including Cyber Security, MXDR, Cloud, IAM, Data, and AI.

The company specializes in serving the larger SMC sector and Enterprise clients across various verticals. They are part of the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA) and have received multiple awards. The role involves leveraging customer IP products, building vendor relationships, and supporting sales initiatives in security services and consulting.

Ideal candidates will have a background in selling MXDR and security consulting services, with experience in managed security and/or professional services. You should be a motivated, experienced new logo seller with a desire to deepen your security expertise. The team offers solid presales support, MVP-level consulting allies, and unique customer products.

Managed Security Services include:

  • Managed XDR

Professional Services/Consulting include:

  • Cloud Security, Defender for Cloud/Entra/Intune
  • Purview Compliance/Data Governance
  • Security Copilot
Responsibilities:
  • Lead business growth within new accounts.
  • Build relationships with prospective clients and vendors, including Microsoft.
  • Create and manage sales pipeline across security services, consulting, and presales.
  • Maintain contact with existing clients.
  • Track metrics to measure success.
  • Understand customers' security postures and identify solutions and opportunities.
  • Advise customers on suitable security services and solutions using your expertise.
Key Experience:
  • Experience in full sales cycle, including deal closing and sales success.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Managed and/or Professional Security Services.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Security stack and other vendors, including licensing models across MXDR, cloud, IAM, Purview, Copilot for Security.
  • Ability to discuss solutions with customers effectively.
  • Proven success in meeting sales targets for security services.
  • Experience selling MXDR/MDR services.
  • Experience selling security solutions to new customers, both PS and MS.
  • Interest in Microsoft or wider security vendor services.
