Microsoft Modern Workplace / Application Specialist

Join a leading financial services organization as a Microsoft Modern Workplace / Application Specialist in the City of London, with a hybrid work arrangement. This role involves working within the business application team to support and optimize Microsoft Modern Workplace technologies, acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), and leading key projects using Business Analyst and Project Management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as SME for Microsoft Modern Workplace technologies (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive), advising on best practices and maximizing toolset benefits.
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships to support technology initiatives and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Handle escalations for unresolved IT issues and ensure effective support for applications.
• Manage IT projects to ensure solutions meet business needs and align with architectural and security standards.
• Maintain documentation, delivery, and revision of applications under management.
• Oversee the lifecycle of applications from inception to decommissioning, representing the business at IT governance forums.

Required Skills & Experience:
