Job summary

Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking a proactive Training Officer to lead Microsoft 365 and related applications training across the organisation. The role focuses on delivering engaging sessions, developing materials, and supporting staff to apply new digital skills in daily work.

You will design and deliver learning programmes, create resources, and monitor feedback to continuously improve the training offer and foster a culture of digital confidence within the workforce.

Qualifications

• A degree in a relevant discipline and a recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain one) or Microsoft Certified Trainer status is required.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 products is essential.
• Evidence of continuous professional development is essential.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver learning programmes covering Microsoft 365 and related applications (face-to-face, online and blended).
• Create and maintain learning resources, guides and supporting materials.
• Gather learner feedback and drive continuous improvement and wider organisational development initiatives.
