Job summary

Walsall Council is seeking a Training Officer to lead Microsoft 365 and Applications training across the organisation. You will design and deliver engaging learning programmes, including face-to-face, online and blended formats, to boost confidence and productivity.

You will create learning resources, gather feedback for continuous improvement and collaborate with Digital colleagues to help staff apply new skills and embrace modern workplace technology.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant discipline and a recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain one) or Microsoft Certified Trainer status is required.
• Microsoft Office Specialist or equivalent relevant experience is also required.
• Evidence of continuous professional development is essential.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver learning programmes covering Microsoft 365 and related applications, including basic to advanced levels.
• Create and maintain learning resources, guides, presentations and supporting materials.
• Gather learner feedback, identify improvement opportunities and promote wider Organisational Development initiatives.
