Job summary

Walsall Council is seeking an enthusiastic Training Officer to join the Organisational Development team and lead Microsoft 365 training across the council. You will design and deliver learning programmes, create accessible resources, and support staff to apply learning in practice to boost confidence and productivity.

You will deliver training face to face, online, and blended, using engaging techniques and digital tools; strong communication and facilitation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering engaging learning programmes, both face-to-face and online.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills with ability to manage groups.
• Degree in a relevant discipline and a recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain one).
• Evidence of continuing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver learning programmes covering Microsoft 365 and related applications.
• Create learning resources, guides, and supporting materials.
• Gather feedback and drive continuous improvement across organisational development.
