Job summary

AWD Recruitment in Carlisle seeks an IT Trainer / Software Trainer to deliver in-person and virtual learning, strengthening Microsoft 365 knowledge, and creating practical resources for users. You’ll support Copilot and cyber security awareness while producing training materials and short videos.

Role combines client training with content creation, managing work in the PSA system, and continual improvement. Hybrid working and UK travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering IT or software end-user training in person and remotely to varied audiences.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365.
• Confidence delivering Copilot training to end users.
• Confidence delivering cyber security awareness training to end users.
• Ability to prepare clear, engaging training materials for different audiences.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organisation for delivering across multiple clients.
• Willingness to travel between offices and client sites as required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team with professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Microsoft, software and induction training in person or virtually.
• Prepare internal training documents covering new products, tools and topics.
• Produce short training videos for social media to support knowledge sharing.
• Manage work via PSA system, recording time and tickets.
• Maintain accurate internal and client documentation and procedures.
• Follow standard operating procedures and contribute to process improvements.
• Support ongoing learning and professional development in relevant areas.
• Represent the organisation professionally with clients of varying technical ability.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues to deliver effective training implementations.
