Job summary

Sanofi Waterford is seeking a Quality Analyst Microbiology within our QC Team. You'll provide chemistry support and knowledge to the QC team and to other departments, and perform QC testing by following approved methodology to ensure the safety, quality, purity and stability of products, components and in-process stages.

The role is fixed-term for 12 months and involves cross-functional collaboration with Validation, Manufacturing, Planning and Quality Assurance, with potential shift work (12/7)

Qualifications

• Experience in a QC department in a Pharmaceutical or GMP facility.
• Experience in Microbiological techniques.
• Understanding of Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
• Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g. Veeva/Qualipso/TrackWise).
• Knowledge of lab management systems (e.g. LUNA).
• Motivated, ambitious and goal oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide Microbiology support to QA, Qualified Persons, Validation and Manufacturing as well as other areas on site.
• Documentation review and batch release review.
• Provide technical guidance to QC Microbiology Team and external departments (Validation, Manufacturing, Planning, QA).
• Execute QC Microbiology testing (water sampling, water testing, environmental monitoring, compressed air/nitrogen and more).
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, SOPs and pharmacopeias.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the lab.
• Represent QC Microbiology at cross functional meetings.
