Job summary

Sanofi is seeking a Quality Analyst Microbiology in Waterford to support QC testing and release activities. The role involves performing QC microbiology work, following approved methods, and ensuring compliance with cGMP and pharmacopeias, with cross-functional collaboration across QA, Validation and Manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline.
• Experience in QC Microbiology in pharma/GMP setting.
• Knowledge of lab management systems (e.g., LUNA/Veeva/Trackwise).
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Microbiology support to QA, Validation and Manufacturing as well as other sites.
• Documentation review and batch release review.
• Provide technical guidance to QC Microbiology and other departments. Maintain close contact with Validation, Manufacturing, Planning and QA.
• Execute QC Microbiology testing (water sampling, water testing, environmental monitoring, compressed air/nitrogen and more).
• Ensure compliance with cGMP and SOPs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the lab.
• Represent QC Microbiology in cross-functional meetings.
