Job summary

Sanofi Waterford seeks a Quality Analyst Microbiology to join our QC team. You will support microbiology testing, review documentation, and help ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance across approved specifications.

Work includes water sampling and environmental monitoring, contributing to continuous improvement, and collaborating with QA, validation, manufacturing and other departments on site. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with onsite facilities and health benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a QC department in a Pharmaceutical or GMP facility.
• Experience in microbiological techniques.
• Understanding of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g. Veeva/Qualipso/Trackwise).
• Knowledge of lab management systems (e.g. LUNA).
• Bachelor's Degree in a scientific discipline (Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or Food science preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide microbiology support to QA, Qualified Persons, Validation and Manufacturing departments on site.
• Documentation review and batch release review.
• Provide technical guidance to QC Microbiology Team and external departments.
• Execute QC Microbiology testing (water sampling, water testing, environmental monitoring, compressed air/nitrogen, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with cGMP and SOPs and pharmacopeias.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the lab.
• Represent QC Microbiology in cross-functional meetings.
