Job summary

Sanofi Waterford is seeking a Quality Analyst Microbiology to join the QC Team. You'll provide chemistry support and perform QC testing to ensure safety, quality and stability of products and components, following approved methodologies.

The role involves collaboration with QA, validation, manufacturing and other departments, executing environmental monitoring, water testing, and documentation review, and ensuring compliance with pharmacopeias and GMP.

Qualifications

• Experience in QC within a pharmaceutical or GMP facility.
• Proficient in microbiology techniques and aseptic methods.
• Solid understanding of KPIs and quality management systems.
• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline (biology/chemistry/biotechnology).

Responsibilities

• Provide Microbiology support to QA, Qualified Persons, Validation and Manufacturing.
• Documentation review and batch release review.
• Provide technical guidance to QC Microbiology and external departments.
• Execute QC Microbiology testing (water sampling, water testing, environmental monitoring, compressed air/nitrogen).
• Ensure compliance with cGMP and pharmacopeias at all times.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the lab.
• Represent QC Microbiology at cross functional meetings.
