Job summary

Qualifications

• HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist required.
• BSc in Biomedical Sciences or equivalent.
• Experience in Microbiology/Pathology settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of microbiological analyses to support diagnosis and patient care.
• Contribute to ISO 15189 quality management and UKAS-accredited processes.
• Work within the department's 24/7 service development and shift patterns.
• Support training and competency assessment of junior staff.
• Adhere to SOPs and laboratory safety procedures.
