Job summary

Warrens is recruiting MHE Operatives for our Bolton, United Kingdom site to ensure goods move safely and efficiently through our ambient warehouse. You will handle reach trucks and PPT equipment, support stock movement, and assist with loading and inbound activity while following site procedures.

The role requires a reliable, flexible team player with forklift experience and a strong focus on safety, with a 4 on 4 off night shift pattern and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience within a warehouse, logistics or distribution setting.
• Reach Truck forklift experience is advantageous.
• In-house licences from previous employers considered with practical experience.
• Strong focus on safe working practices and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate MHE safely and efficiently, including reach trucks and PPTs.
• Support movement, replenishment and put-away of stock within the warehouse.
• Assist with loading, unloading and inbound activity following site procedures.
• Complete vehicle, equipment and safety checks per standards.
• Use scanners or warehouse systems to maintain stock integrity.
• Collaborate with the wider warehouse team to keep pace.

Job description

We are looking for reliable and motivated MHE Operatives to join Warrens at our Blackrod site joining a busy ambient warehouse operation. Working across our Bread Distribution site, you will play a key role in keeping products moving safely, accurately and efficiently through the warehouse.

This is a great opportunity for candidates with previous MHE experience who enjoy working in a fast‑paced logistics environment and are confident operating equipment such as reach trucks and PPTs, while supporting loading, inbound and stock movement activity.

Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off Nights from 07:00 - 19:00

Salary: £14.45 per hour

What you'll be doing:

• Operate MHE safely and efficiently, including reach trucks and PPT equipment where required.
• Support the movement, replenishment and put-away of stock within the warehouse.
• Assist with loading, unloading and inbound activity while following site procedures.
• Complete vehicle, equipment and safety checks in line with operational standards.
• Use scanners or warehouse systems accurately to help maintain stock integrity.
• Work closely with the wider warehouse team to keep the operation moving at pace.

Qualifications

What we're looking for:
