Job summary

Great Bear at the Blackrod site is seeking reliable MHE Operatives to support a busy ambient warehouse. You will operate reach trucks and PPT equipment, assist with stock movement, and ensure safe loading and inbound activity.

Join a team-focused environment with a 4 on 4 off night pattern (07:00–19:00) and a pay rate of £14.45 per hour, with opportunities to contribute to stock integrity and site procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience in a warehouse/logistics setting.
• Reach Truck forklift experience advantageous.
• In-house licences considered if practically used.
• Strong focus on safe working practices and accuracy.
• Reliable, flexible and team-oriented approach.
• Available to work a 4 on 4 off night pattern.

Job Description

We are looking for reliable and motivated MHE Operatives to join Warrens at our Blackrod site joining a busy ambient warehouse operation. Working across our Bread Distribution site, you will play a key role in keeping products moving safely, accurately and efficiently through the warehouse.

This is a great opportunity for candidates with previous MHE experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced logistics environment and are confident operating equipment such as reach trucks and PPTs, while supporting loading, inbound and stock movement activity.

Shift pattern

4 on 4 off Nights from 07:00 - 19:00

Salary

£14.45 per hour

What you'll be doing

• Operate MHE safely and efficiently, including reach trucks and PPT equipment where required.
• Support the movement, replenishment and put-away of stock within the warehouse.
• Assist with loading, unloading and inbound activity while following site procedures.
• Complete vehicle, equipment and safety checks in line with operational standards.
• Use scanners or warehouse systems accurately to help maintain stock integrity.
• Work closely with the wider warehouse team to keep the operation moving at pace.

Qualifications

What we're looking for

• Previous forklift experience within a warehouse, logistics or distribution setting.
• Reach Truck forklift experience is required is advantageous
• In-house licences from previous employers can be considered, provided you have relevant practical experience.
• A strong focus on safe working practices and attention to detail.
• A reliable, flexible and team-focused approach.
• Availability to work a 4 on 4 Nightshift pattern
