Great Bear, part of the Culina Group, is hiring MHE Operatives for our Bolton site to keep a busy ambient warehouse moving safely and efficiently. You will operate reach trucks and PPT equipment, support stock movement, and assist with inbound activity while following site procedures.

This role requires previous forklift experience in a warehouse setting, is on a 4 on 4 off night shift, and offers a competitive hourly rate with the potential for development within a leading distribution group.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience within a warehouse, logistics or distribution setting.
• Reach Truck forklift experience is advantageous.
• In-house licences from previous employers can be considered with relevant practical experience.
• A strong focus on safe working practices and attention to detail.
• A reliable, flexible and team-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Operate MHE safely and efficiently, including reach trucks and PPT equipment where required.
• Support the movement, replenishment and put-away of stock within the warehouse.
• Assist with loading, unloading and inbound activity while following site procedures.
• Complete vehicle, equipment and safety checks in line with operational standards.
• Use scanners or warehouse systems accurately to help maintain stock integrity.
• Work closely with the wider warehouse team to keep the operation moving at pace.

Job Description

We are looking for reliable and motivated MHE Operatives to join Warrens at our Blackrod site joining a busy ambient warehouse operation. Working across our Bread Distribution site, you will play a key role in keeping products moving safely, accurately and efficiently through the warehouse.

This is a great opportunity for candidates with previous MHE experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced logistics environment and are confident operating equipment such as reach trucks and PPTs, while supporting loading, inbound and stock movement activity.

Shift pattern:

4 on 4 off Nights from 07:00 - 19:00

Salary:

£14.45 per hour
