Job summary

Great Bear, part of the Culina Group, is seeking reliable MHE Operatives for its Blackrod site to support a busy ambient warehouse operation. You will operate reach trucks and PPTs, assist with stock movement, and help keep the inbound and loading activities running smoothly.

The role requires previous forklift experience, a flexible approach, and availability to work a 4 on 4 off night shift. A strong safety mindset and teamwork are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience within a warehouse/logistics setting.
• Reach Truck forklift experience is advantageous.
• In-house licences from previous employers with relevant experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Operate MHE safely and efficiently, including reach trucks and PPT equipment where required.
• Support movement, replenishment and put-away of stock within the warehouse.
• Assist with loading, unloading and inbound activity following site procedures.
• Complete vehicle, equipment and safety checks in line with standards.
• Use scanners or warehouse systems to maintain stock integrity.
• Work with the warehouse team to keep operations moving at pace.

Job Description

We are looking for reliable and motivated MHE Operatives to join Warrens at our Blackrod site joining a busy ambient warehouse operation. Working across our Bread Distribution site, you will play a key role in keeping products moving safely, accurately and efficiently through the warehouse.

This is a great opportunity for candidates with previous MHE experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced logistics environment and are confident operating equipment such as reach trucks and PPTs, while supporting loading, inbound and stock movement activity.

Shift pattern:4 on 4 off Nights from 07:00 - 19:00

Salary:£14.45 per hour

What you'll be doing:

• Operate MHE safely and efficiently, including reach trucks and PPT equipment where required.
• Support the movement, replenishment and put-away of stock within the warehouse.
• Assist with loading, unloading and inbound activity while following site procedures.
• Complete vehicle, equipment and safety checks in line with operational standards.
• Use scanners or warehouse systems accurately to help maintain stock integrity.
• Work closely with the wider warehouse team to keep the operation moving at pace.

Qualifications

What we're looking for:

• Previous forklift experience within a warehouse, logistics or distribution setting.
• Reach Truck forklift experience is required is advantageous
• In-house licences from previous employers can be considered, provided you have relevant practical experience.
• A strong focus on safe working practices and attention to detail.
• A reliable, flexible and team-focused approach.
• Availability to work a 4 on 4 Nightshift pattern
