Job summary

Academics is seeking a passionate Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher for a secondary school in Leeds starting September 2026. The school has been rated good by Ofsted and seeks a dedicated teacher to drive language learning across KS3 and KS4.

You will monitor progress, provide feedback, manage behaviour and collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum. QTS and right to work in the UK are essential.

Your role as an MFL Teacher:

• Demonstrating excellent knowledge to students across KS3 and KS4

• Engaging with other members of the curriculum by sharing ideas.
• Display strong behaviour management and refer to the schools behaviour policy if required.

Requirements for the MFL Teacher role:

• Previous experience teaching languages across KS3 and KS4
• Time management and organisation skills
• A degree relevant to Modern Foreign Languages
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Right to work in the UK
