Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a qualified MFL Teacher to join a Good OFSTED secondary school in Stockport. You will plan and deliver engaging Modern Foreign Languages lessons across multiple topics and levels.

The role is full-time and long-term from October, with competitive daily rates (£170–£250) and ongoing CPD opportunities via the My-Progression channel. Successful applicants will hold QTS with an MFL specialism and strong classroom management.

Qualifications

• QTS with an MFL specialism (ECTs welcomed).
• Experience teaching Modern Foreign Languages in a secondary school.
• Ability to teach multiple languages is desirable but not essential.

Job Title: MFL Teacher

Start Date: October

Salary: £170 - £250 per day

Do you have experience teaching Modern Foreign Languages within a secondary school setting?

Are you able to teach multiple languages, or do you have a strong specialism in one Modern Foreign Language?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with an OFSTED rated ‘Good’ mainstream secondary school in Stockport. The school provides a positive learning environment and is looking for an enthusiastic MFL Teacher to join their established team.

The school is looking to take on an MFL Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis from October. The successful MFL Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Modern Foreign Languages lessons, with the ability to teach multiple languages desirable but not essential.

The successful MFL Teacher will have:

• QTS with an MFL specialism (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Experience teaching Modern Foreign Languages within a secondary school setting
• The ability to teach multiple languages is desirable but not essential
• Excellent classroom management
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
