Job summary

TeacherActive is working with an OFSTED rated ‘Good’ mainstream secondary school in Stockport. An enthusiastic MFL Teacher is wanted to join their established team on a full-time, long-term basis from October.

The role involves planning and delivering engaging Modern Foreign Languages lessons and can involve teaching multiple languages. QTS with MFL specialism is required; experience in a secondary setting is essential.

Qualifications

• QTS with an MFL specialism (ECTs are also welcomed to apply).
• Experience teaching Modern Foreign Languages within a secondary school setting.
• The ability to teach multiple languages is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent classroom management.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A positive and adaptable approach to teaching.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Modern Foreign Languages lessons.
• Deliver across languages where possible; ability to teach multiple languages is desirable.
• Maintain strong classroom management and pupil engagement.
• Collaborate with the established school team and adapt to school practices.

The school is looking to take on an MFL Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis from October. The successful MFL Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Modern Foreign Languages lessons, with the ability to teach multiple languages desirable but not essential.

The successful MFL Teacher will have:

• QTS with an MFL specialism (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
