Job summary

Alecto Recruitment Limited is seeking a Powered Access Engineer in Oxfordshire to service MEWP equipment across the region. The role offers a lucrative package with Up to £52,000, guaranteed overtime, a £1,200 annual bonus, a company van and fuel card.

Typical hours are Monday to Friday, with overtime available. You’ll receive UK travel support, 33 days of annual leave, pension and ongoing manufacturer training to progress your career.

Qualifications

• Experience on powered access, MEWPs, plant or similar equipment.
• Full UK driving licence.
• IPAF qualification (or willing to obtain).
• LOLER experience (desirable).
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding abilities.

• Servicing, planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and breakdown repairs.
• Mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding.
• Diagnostics on powered access and access platform equipment.

Your hours

Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm, plus overtime.

What you’ll be doing

This is the engineering job for you if you have

The ability to explain how a relay works. If you can talk us through it clearly, you’ll be well placed to handle the electrical fault-finding on this job.

Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical skills

Experience on powered access, MEWPs, plant or similar equipment

A full UK driving licence

IPAF qualification (or you’re willing to get it)

LOLER experience (desirable, not essential)

The confidence to work alone on customer sites and deliver great service

Your job title might be Powered Access Engineer, Plant Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Mobile Engineer, Heavy Plant Fitter or Plant Mechanic. If you can diagnose a fault, fix it right and keep customers up and running, we want to hear from you.
