Alecto Recruitment Limited is seeking a Powered Access Engineer (MEWP Engineer) in Hampshire to service, repair and support powered access equipment across Fareham, Southampton, Portsmouth, Eastleigh, Winchester, Basingstoke and surrounding areas. The role offers a strong pay package and generous overtime in a well-established access specialist.

You will perform servicing, PPMs and breakdown repairs with mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding.

Qualifications

• Experience on powered access, MEWPs, plant or similar equipment.
• IPAF qualification (or you're willing to get it).
• A full UK driving licence.
• LOLER experience (desirable, not essential).

Responsibilities

• Servicing, planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and breakdown repairs.
• Mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding.
• Diagnostics on powered access and access platform equipment.
• LOLER inspections and thorough examinations.
• Customer site visits and technical support.
• Accurate service, inspection and compliance reporting.

Powered Access Engineer (MEWP Engineer) | Hampshire

A leading powered access specialist is hiring experienced engineers across Hampshire (Fareham, Southampton, Portsmouth, Eastleigh, Winchester, Basingstoke and surrounding areas) and the wider South East.

Your engineering package

• Up to £52,000 DOE
• Guaranteed overtime, written into the deal

Your hours

Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm, plus overtime

Weekends are yours. The overtime is there when you want the extra money.

Your base: a workshop that looks after you

What you'll be doing

This is the engineering job for you if you have

• The ability to explain how a relay works. If you can talk us through it clearly, you'll be well placed to handle the electrical fault-finding on this job.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical skills
• Experience on powered access, MEWPs, plant or similar equipment
• A full UK driving licence
• IPAF qualification (or you're willing to get it)
• LOLER experience (desirable, not essential)
• The confidence to work alone on customer sites and deliver great service

Your job title might be Powered Access Engineer, Plant Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Mobile Engineer, Heavy Plant Fitter or Plant Mechanic. If you can diagnose a fault, fix it right and keep customers up and running, we want to hear from you.
