The Role:

Our Harrogate, UK site is recruiting for an Instrument Technician in the Biopharmaceutical Chemistry Manufacturing Controls (BiopharmCMC) division on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with potential for permanent employment.

This on-site role supports the GMP Equipment Management group. You will join a team of 9 in Harrogate and be part of a UK-wide team of 13, with comprehensive training and onboarding provided. Candidates with transferable skills from related environments are encouraged to apply, even without direct experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Complete all equipment documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and test protocols.
  • Coordinate maintenance and qualification activities with vendors and internal teams, including scheduling and vendor compliance checks.
  • Arrange installation and setup of new equipment as needed.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively, demonstrating strong time management skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of A-level or equivalent qualification.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a technical or regulated environment.
  • Proficient computing skills are essential.
