Job summary

Redkite Engineering Recruitment is seeking a Field Sales Engineer to cover the Midlands. The role blends account management with new business development, requiring a strong technical or engineering background and commercial drive.

Travel across the Midlands with visits to customers, supported by product and applications training. Extensive mentorship and training are provided, including international training support.

Qualifications

• Strong technical or engineering background with ability to discuss technical requirements with customers.
• Experience in metrology or precision engineering is a plus.
• Commercial mindset with good communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel across the Midlands and hold a UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Approximately 65% account management / 35% new business.
• Managing and developing existing customer accounts.
• Identifying and winning new business across the Midlands.
• Understanding customer applications and technical requirements.
• Helping customers identify appropriate measurement solutions.
• Regular face-to-face customer visits throughout the territory.
• Working from the Milton Keynes office when not on the road.
• Ongoing product, technical and commercial development.
