Job summary

Redkite Engineering Recruitment is looking for a Senior Technical Applications Engineer to support complex customer applications in Gloucester. You will bridge sales, engineering and manufacturing, delivering demonstrations, feasibility studies and hands-on measurement work.

You will leverage a strong metrology background and enjoy shaping technical solutions in real projects, including on-site customer engagement and project delivery. This is a hands-on, senior role with growth potential.

Qualifications

• Experienced Applications Engineer, Product Specialist or Metrology Engineer who stays closely involved in technical detail.
• Strong background in metrology, precision measurement, quality, manufacturing or related engineering.

Responsibilities

• Support customer applications and sales activity with demonstrations and feasibility studies on site.
• Provide technical input to define the right solution for each application.
• Contribute to development projects when standard equipment needs adapting or integration.
• Hand-on subcontract measurement work to keep the team close to equipment and tech.
