Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Onboarding & Metering Lead to own the end-to-end onboarding process for meters, tenants, owners and landlords, ensuring accurate metering readiness before billing.

You will coordinate with developers, SLPs and sales offices, drive workflow improvements, data accuracy and system enhancements, and lead a team to deliver high-quality customer outcomes in a data-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with meters, metering data, or onboarding in utilities sectors.
• Experience leading a team in operations, data-driven or customer-focused settings.
• Strong understanding of how metering data affects onboarding, billing accuracy and the Meter-to-Cash cycle.
• Proven ability to resolve complex metering issues and data discrepancies.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and metering/billing systems.
• Demonstrated track record delivering high-quality customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own the onboarding process from developer handover to tenant move-in and transition.
• Lead engagement with developers, SLPs, and sales offices.
• Ensure metering readiness and data completeness before billing.
• Review and streamline onboarding workflows, including automation.
• Maintain accurate meter records, updates, exchanges and lifecycle management.
• Own escalation and resolution of complex metering issues.
• Coordinate meter stock issuance, reconciliation and monthly reporting.
• Link Operations, Billing, Revenue Assurance and system teams to ensure readiness.
• Lead, coach and develop onboarding and meter asset teams.
• Identify gaps and design improvements.
• Collaborate to optimize scalable metering data flows and system logic.
