Job summary

Johnson Controls offshore energy team seeks a Senior Metering Technician to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance of fiscal, allocation and environmental metering. You will maintain metering assets, perform checks, and drive improvements in a dynamic offshore environment.

You will lead startups/shutdowns, manage MMS, and mentor platform teams while upholding safety, quality and compliance standards across operations.

Qualifications

• HNC in engineering (essential).
• SVQ Level 3 in Measurement Processes (essential).
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in a similar metering role in energy.
• Advanced knowledge of metering and measurement systems.
• Strong knowledge of IP, API, AGA, BS and ISO standards.
• Understanding of OGA guidelines and commercial agreements.
• Excellent communication and ability to build relationships.
• Proven ability to lead audits and work offshore independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain metering systems and analyzers, ensuring accuracy.
• Perform daily checks, trend analysis and health monitoring.
• Lead safe start-up and shutdown of measurement systems.
• Manage MMS and resolve issues promptly.
• Support isolations, calculations, data validation and reporting.
