Qualifications

• Proven experience as MET Technician in automotive repair.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical vehicle systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs to high standard on a variety of vehicle types.
• Replace and refit mechanical components, including hybrid and electric vehicle parts. Use industry-approved repair methods, particularly for ADAS and EV systems.
• Conduct thorough quality checks and self-assessments to ensure compliance with manufacturer standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment in accordance with health and safety policies.
• Follow all safety protocols, including PPE requirements.

Our client, a leading accident repair group in York, is seeking a skilled MET Technician to join their busy and expanding accident repair centre. The role of an MET Technician is vital in delivering high-quality vehicle repairs while maintaining safety, accuracy, and efficiency. Duties of the MET Technician:

• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs to a high standard on a variety of vehicle types
