Perfect Placement UK Ltd in York is seeking a skilled MET Technician to join a busy and expanding accident repair centre. The role focuses on delivering high-quality mechanical and electrical repairs, including ADAS and EV components, in a modern workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as MET Technician in automotive repair.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical vehicle systems.
• Familiar with ADAS, hybrid and EV repairs.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs to high standard on a variety of vehicle types.
• Replace and refit mechanical components, including hybrid and electric vehicle parts. Use industry-approved repair methods, particularly for ADAS and EV systems.
• Conduct thorough quality checks and self-assessments to ensure compliance with manufacturer standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment in accordance with health and safety policies.
• Follow all safety protocols, including PPE requirements.
