Auto Skills UK is recruiting a MET Technician / Strip Fitter in Bristol to join a leading bodyshop team. The successful candidate will repair damaged vehicles to manufacturers' specifications using modern equipment and techniques, in a state-of-the-art facility.

Expect an 8am-5pm,Mon-Fri schedule and a salary in the £40,000-£50,000 range, reflecting experience and performance bonuses where applicable.

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship as MET Technician / Strip Fitter and a technical qualification.
• Experience in a busy body shop and teamwork to meet targets.
• Up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.

MET TECHNICIAN / STRIP FITTER

MET Technician / Strip Fitter details:

Salary: £40,000-£50,000

Working Hours: 8am-5pm (Mon-Fri)

Talented and efficient MET Technician/ Strip Fitter to join this leading team.

As a MET Technician / Strip Fitter, you will be repairing damaged vehicles in line with the manufacturers' specifications within a state-of-the-art Bodyshop, utilising modern equipment and techniques.

Responsibilities of an MET Technician / Strip Fitter

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre.
• Follow the correct repair techniques and produce work in line with factory specifications and customer satisfaction.

Skills and Qualifications of an MET Technician / Strip Fitter

• You will have served a recognised apprenticeship as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter and gained a technical qualification (such as NVQ / VCQ / SVQ / ATA).
• You must have previous experience working as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter within a busy body shop and be a strong team player with a self-motivation to earn bonus hours.
• You will work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
