CLEAR AUTOMOTIVE RECRUITMENT SOLUTIONS LIMITED is recruiting a MET Technician for our busy Accident Repair Centre in Dudley, West Midlands. The role involves carrying out mechanical, electrical, trim, strip and fit work with a focus on quality over volume.

Applicants with ATA/NVQ/IMI Level 3 qualifications are advantageous but not essential for experienced candidates. The position offers progression within a growing group and a modern repair facility, with a salary potentially up to £60,000 and

Qualifications

• Experience as MET Technician, Strip & Fitter or Bodyshop Mechanic is preferred.
• Experience in an accident repair/bodyshop environment is advantageous.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills are important.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality repairs.

Responsibilities

• Remove and refit mechanical, electrical and trim components.
• Strip and rebuild accident-damaged vehicles.
• Carry out fault finding and diagnostic work.
• Identify and order required replacement parts.
• Ensure repairs are completed to manufacturer standards.
• Reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Conduct quality checks throughout the repair process.
• Work efficiently to agreed repair timescales.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.

MET Technician - The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced MET Technician to join a busy, reputable Accident Repair Centre.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that prioritises quality repairs over volume, giving technicians the time, support and resources needed to deliver work to the highest standards.

The successful candidate will have previous experience within an accident repair environment and be confident carrying out all aspects of mechanical, electrical, trim, strip and fit work.
