Perfect Placement is recruiting a MET Technician for a leading accident repair specialist near Wigan. The role offers opportunity for career development, ongoing training, and a supportive environment.

You will dismantle, repair, and reassemble mechanical, electrical, and trim components, perform four-wheel alignments, and ensure safety standards are met. A full UK driving licence is essential, with EV systems knowledge advantageous.

Qualifications

• IMI or ATA Accredited MET Technician qualification or equivalent experience in a bodyshop.
• Proven experience in accident repair and vehicle refurbishment.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication skills and team working abilities.
• Knowledge of electric vehicle systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Dismantling, repairing, and reassembling mechanical, electrical, and trim components to high standards.
• Conducting four-wheel alignment checks and adjustments in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Ensuring vehicle protection throughout repairs and adherence to health and safety standards.
• Working collaboratively with team members to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Applying knowledge of electric vehicle systems and emerging automotive technologies.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of repair work.
