Job summary

Clear Automotive Recruitment Solutions Limited is seeking a MET Technician to join a modern accident repair centre in Croydon. You will strip and refit components, dismantle damaged vehicles and perform diagnostics to manufacturer standards.

The role offers a Monday to Friday schedule, competitive pay up to £58k base with OTE £68k+, a new enhanced bonus scheme and access to wage advances, plus a strong career progression path within a growing business.

Qualifications

• Previous MET Technician, Strip Fitter, or Bodyshop experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills.
• ATA, NVQ Level 3, or IMI Level 3 qualification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Remove and refit mechanical, electrical, and trim components.
• Strip and rebuild vehicles to manufacturer standards.
• Dismantle accident-damaged vehicles for repair.
• Carry out diagnostics, inspections, and fault-finding.
• Complete steering, suspension, and wheel alignment work.
• Order and fit replacement parts.
• Reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Ensure all repairs meet quality, safety, and manufacturer requirements.
• Complete work efficiently within agreed repair times.
