Job summary

Marshall Mercedes-Benz of Blackpool is seeking an experienced MET Technician to join our high-performing repair centre.

You will diagnose faults, remove and replace mechanical, electrical and trim components, and dismantle key vehicle systems to manufacturer standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an MET Technician.
• Industry-recognised qualification (Level 3 preferred, Level 2 considered) such as IMI or City & Guilds.
• Comfortable following established processes and health & safety standards.
• Able to work independently to meet targets, and as part of a team to ensure smooth workshop operations.
• Pride in delivering great results in a supportive, positive working environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and assess repair requirements quickly and accurately.
• Remove and replace mechanical, electrical and trim components, ensuring parts are fitted to manufacturer standards.
• Dismantle and reassemble key vehicle systems with care and efficiency.
• Work closely with colleagues to meet daily schedules and customer expectations while maintaining safety standards.

At Marshall Mercedes-Benz of Blackpool, we’re offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced MET Technician to join our high-performing repair centre and play a key role in returning vehicles to showroom condition.

In this role:

• You’ll diagnose faults and assess repair requirements quickly and accurately.
• You’ll remove and replace mechanical, electrical and trim components, ensuring every part is fitted to manufacturer standards.
• You’ll dismantle and reassemble key vehicle systems with care and efficiency.
• You’ll work closely with colleagues to meet daily schedules and customer expectations while maintaining rigorous safety standards.

We're looking for:

• Someone with proven experience as an MET Technician, confident working at pace.
• Someone with an industry-recognised qualification (Level 3 preferred, Level 2 considered), such as IMI or City & Guilds.
• Someone who is comfortable following established processes and procedures, and complying with Health & Safety standards.
• Someone who can work both independently to meet targets, and as a team to ensure the smooth workshop operations.
