Job summary

Marshall Mercedes-Benz of Blackpool is seeking an experienced MET Technician to join our high-performing repair centre.

You will diagnose faults, remove and replace mechanical, electrical and trim components, and dismantle key vehicle systems to manufacturer standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an MET Technician.
• Industry-recognised qualification (Level 3 preferred, Level 2 considered) such as IMI or City & Guilds.
• Comfortable following established processes and health & safety standards.
• Able to work independently to meet targets, and as part of a team to ensure smooth workshop operations.
• Pride in delivering great results in a supportive, positive working environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and assess repair requirements quickly and accurately.
• Remove and replace mechanical, electrical and trim components, ensuring parts are fitted to manufacturer standards.
• Dismantle and reassemble key vehicle systems with care and efficiency.
• Work closely with colleagues to meet daily schedules and customer expectations while maintaining safety standards.
