Perfect Placement is seeking an experienced MET Technician for a reputable accident repair specialist in Coventry, Warwickshire. The role focuses on dismantling and rebuilding components, four-wheel alignments, and collaborating with the production team to deliver quality repairs.

You will work with EV technology and maintain high safety and workmanship standards. A strong candidate will have MET experience, IMI/ATA MET qualification, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• MET Technician with bodyshop/accident repair experience.
• IMI/ATA MET qualification or equivalent.
• Experience dismantling and rebuilding vehicles.
• Full UK driving licence.
• EV experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Dismantling and reassembling mechanical, electrical, and trim components in accident repairs.
• Conducting four-wheel alignment checks and repairs.
• Collaborating with Technicians, Vehicle Damage Assessors, and Production teams to ensure efficient vehicle repairs.
• Working on electric vehicles and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of vehicle technology.
• Ensuring vehicles are protected during the repair process and all work adheres to safety standards.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and attention to detail throughout all tasks.

Duties of a MET Technician:

• Dismantling and reassembling mechanical, electrical, and trim components in accident repairs
• Conducting four-wheel alignment checks and repairs
• Collaborating with Technicians, Vehicle Damage Assessors, and Production teams to ensure efficient vehicle repairs

Requirements iof a MET Technician:

• MET Technician experience within a Bodyshop or accident repair environment
• IMI/ATA MET qualification or equivalent experience

• Full UK driving licence
• Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Ability to work effectively within a busy team environment
• EV experience is advantageous
