Clear Automotive Recruitment Solutions Limited is seeking a MET Technician to join a modern, well-equipped accident repair centre in Dartford. The role offers a Monday to Friday schedule, with early start times and a strong pathway for career progression.

Salary up to £58,000 with an OTE of £68,000+, plus a comprehensive benefits package and enhanced sick pay. The team is known for high-quality repairs and manufacturer-approved methods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a MET Technician, Strip Fitter, or Bodyshop Mechanic.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to follow technical repair methods accurately.
• ATA, NVQ Level 3, or IMI Level 3 qualification advantageous.
• Positive attitude and commitment to high-quality repairs.

Responsibilities

• Remove and refit mechanical, electrical, and trim components.
• Strip and rebuild vehicles to manufacturer standards.
• Dismantle accident-damaged vehicles for repair.
• Carry out diagnostics, inspections, and fault-finding.
• Complete steering, suspension, and wheel alignment work.
• Order and fit replacement parts.
• Reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Ensure all repairs meet quality, safety, and manufacturer requirements.
• Complete work efficiently within agreed repair times.
