Steer Automotive Group in Bournemouth is seeking a skilled MET Technician to join our team and restore vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will dismantle and reassemble, diagnose faults, and use the latest equipment with emphasis on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Proven MET Technician experience in a bodyshop or accident repair setting.
• Strong understanding of vehicle mechanical, electrical, and trim systems.
• ATA accreditation (or working towards it) desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A professional who works with integrity, accountability, and pride in their craft.

Responsibilities

• Dismantling and reassembling vehicles safely and efficiently, following manufacturer methods.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and carrying out repairs.
• Working with the latest technology and equipment to ensure quality and compliance.
• Liaising with other technicians to support a smooth and efficient repair process.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional working environment.
