Aramark UK is seeking a Mess Manager for Munster Barracks, Catterick Garrison. You will lead the day-to-day operation of a busy Combined Mess, ensuring exceptional service across dining, accommodation and functions.

You will manage a team, monitor compliance with food safety and health & safety standards, and build strong relationships with military personnel and guests. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a DBS check required.

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Mess Manager to join our team at Munster Barracks, Catterick Garrison, DL9 3PZ. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to lead the day-to-day operation of a busy Combined Mess, ensuring exceptional service standards across dining facilities, accommodation, and functions.

As Mess Manager, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment for military personnel and guests while overseeing all aspects of mess life and maintaining the highest standards of customer service, food safety, and compliance.

Qualifications

About you

• Previous experience in a similar management or hospitality role is preferred
• Health & Safety qualification or strong working knowledge of health & safety practices
• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Good financial, organisational, and administrative skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Professional and proactive approach with excellent attention to detail
