Job summary

Aramark UK at Munster Barracks, Catterick Garrison, DL9 3PZ is hiring a Food Service Worker to support a busy catering operation for military personnel.

You will assist with basic food preparation, serve customers, and help keep the kitchen clean. Training is provided; shifts run 07:00–13:00 or 12:00–18:00, with 30 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or catering experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a busy team environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with basic food preparation tasks
• Serving food and beverages to customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Cleaning work areas before, during, and after service
• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen and back-of-house environment
• Assisting with deliveries, stock storage, and stock rotation
• Managing waste disposal in line with site procedures
• Following food safety, health & safety, and company policies at all times
• Supporting the wider catering team to ensure efficient daily operations

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Food Service Worker to join our team at Munster Barracks, Catterick Garrison, DL9 3PZ. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join a busy catering operation supporting military personnel in a fast-paced environment.
