Job summary

The role requires a minimum of 1 year’s staff supervision experience, cash handling, and strong customer service skills. Proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel is essential, with the ability to move and lift gaming machines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth running of the Branch, supervising venue staff.
• Assist Branch Manager with weekly collections following company procedures.
• Maintain high standards of venue housekeeping and cleanliness of gaming equipment, floors and surfaces.
• Deliver high levels of service and hospitality in line with company standards.
• Uphold brand dress code and professional presentation while on duty.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Position: Night Supervisor

Location: Boucher Road

Hourly rate

£15.06 per hour

Hours per week

32 per week, to include nights, weekends and public holidays. Night Shifts are between midnight to 8:00am

We are excited to announce a great opportunity for a Night Supervisor. Based in Belfast, you will be working alongside our team in a busy venue while working closely with the Venue Manager to ensure the smooth running of our Adult Gaming Centre, supervising venue staff and ensuring company policies and procedures are adhered to, as well as aligning processes to those in the MERKUR parent company to contribute to the continual improvement of the one of our Venues and company operation.

Oasis is an established, major gaming operator in Northern Ireland, operating Adult Gaming Centres and a Family Entertainment Centre and became part of the UK MERKUR Family in late 2025. Oasis continues to go from strength to strength.

About you

We are looking for an experienced Night Supervisor with great people skills. A customer-focused supervisor who works well in a team.

Essential Criteria

• Minimum of 1 years’ staff supervision experience
• Minimum of 1 years’ cash handling experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficient with Microsoft computer systems such as outlook, word, excel
• Ability to move and lift machines
• GCSE or equivalent grade D or above

Desirable Criteria

• Previous industry experience or knowledge

Your Role will include

• Ensuring the smooth running of the Branch, supervision of venue staff.
• Assist Branch Manager with weekly collections taking care to follow company procedures.
• Ensure that the venue housekeeping is always of the highest possible standard, regularly cleaning gaming equipment, floors, walls and other surfaces.
• Ensure high standards of service and hospitality are always delivered to all customers and ensure that customer service is carried out in line with company standards.
• Maintain a high standard of personal presentation ensuring the brand dress code is always adhered to, whilst on duty.
• Ensuring Company policies and procedures are adhered to.

Key holder duties and responsibilities

• Monitor the actions and behaviour of customers, noting any behaviour considered to be suspicious and/or disruptive to the smooth operation of the venue.
• Adhere to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment and materials for which the role has responsibility.
• Gain a good understanding of all company policies and procedures around safeguarding and challenge 25
• Report any machine faults and errors immediately.
• Ensuring correct completion of all paperwork.
• Any other duties as required.
• Generally working within your allocated branch, although there may be requirements to cover in other Oasis Branches.
