Deloitte's M&A Technology team – part of the wider Deal Transformation & Post Merger Integration (DT&PMI) team – helps buyers and sellers identify, protect, and unlock the full value of technology and digital assets throughout the transactions process. Our team supports clients throughout the entire deal lifecycle—from early-stage planning and value creation strategies, through technology and AI due diligence, to seamless integration and separation execution.
To be eligible for the Summer Vacation Scheme,you’llneed to be studying towards a minimum 2:1 in any degree discipline and be due to graduate by September 2028 to be eligiblefor theSummer 2027 intake.

Deloitte's M&A Technology team plays a critical role in today's M&A advisory landscape, including providing in-depth due diligence on technology, AI, IT functions, and cybersecurity—essential elements in every deal.
You will work with clients to help them deliver their strategic M&A objectives wherever technology is involved. You will advise stakeholders of the role of technology in executing deals and delivering value across mergers, acquisitions, divestments and performance improvement initiatives.
Your role will allow you to work across a range of sectors, with professionals from across the M&A business, as well as the rest of the Deloitte. You will gain experience of the whole deal life cycle and the impact of technology on business performance through developing a rounded understanding of all technology domains.
At Deloitte we recognise how important face‑to‑face interaction is for your development in a new role. We also understand that our people need flexibility, which is why we operate a hybrid system, with a combination of office and home working. If you’re in a client‑facing role, you might be expected to attend client sites on certain days, while your meetings will be a mix of online and in‑person events. Please note your final assessment and induction will also be in‑person, to give you the opportunity to network and build relationships.

As a Graduate within M&A Technology, you will complete the CIMA qualification.
You’ll begin with a comprehensive induction programme, equipping you with the skills and confidence to work with our clients. Ongoing professional development will be provided through your project team, mentoring, and a dedicated buddy.
You will also build knowledge and understanding of how established IT platforms, software, cyber and corporate IT solutions underpin business models and how emerging technologies are a critical enabler for growth and competitive advantage.
The combination of financial understanding through CIMA, technology knowledge and project management skills will provide you will the rounded skillset to operate across the end‑to‑end M&A life cycle from technology due diligence through to IT separation or integration and downstream IT transformation.
