We're looking for a Merchandising Team Leader based in the Liverpool area. You'll be an integral part of a field-based retail merchandising team, working in a range of high street retailers on behalf of exciting household name brands. We work across a variety of categories including: Books and Entertainment, Fashion, Grocery, Health and Beauty, Beers, Wines and Spirits, and Toys.

You'll be supervising and training your team to ensure they're delivering excellent service for our clients and meeting agreed measures and deadlines. Merchandising tasks include setting up Point of Sale displays, checking stock levels, and replenishing fixtures. Every day is different and rewarding! About the role:

The ideal recruitment area is Liverpool Old Swan, including Liverpool, Widnes, and St Helens.

The contracted hours are 30 per week. You will conduct supervisory tasks for 12 hours per week at a rate of £12.70 and client merchandising tasks for 18 hours per week at a rate of £12.21.

• Supervising: Support the coordination of the merchandising schedule for merchandisers in your area. Coach and train colleagues on merchandising principles, processes, and procedures to ensure high-quality service.
• Compliance and Standards: Act as a compliance champion, ensuring adherence to merchandising standards, store policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines. Follow and implement planograms to maintain consistency and compliance.
• Product Placement and Replenishment: Arrange products on shelves and displays to maximize visibility and appeal.
• Promotional and Point of Sale Setup: Set up promotional displays and signage to communicate prices, discounts, and offers effectively.
• Communication and Relationship Building: Build and maintain good relationships with in-store colleagues, especially managers. Provide feedback to client teams via the feedback application, acting as the eyes and ears in stores.

• Full UK driving license and access to a car for business purposes
• Comfortable with manual handling tasks
• Experience in retail merchandising, retail, or customer service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently within set time frames and use initiative
• Pride in delivering high standards and service
• Experience supervising, training, or coaching colleagues is a bonus
• Willing to accept home deliveries of point of sale or stock items (paid extra)
• Confident using a company tablet for tasks like downloading briefs, taking photos, and answering questions
