Job Opportunity: Merchandising Manager

We are seeking a Merchandising Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will lead a high-performing team to plan and execute the Whistles product range and influence the seasonal planning process.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Team Management and Development: Lead a team of results-oriented Merchandisers, ensuring they are equipped to trade their product areas and meet their goals.
  2. Seasonal Planning: Own and influence the seasonal planning process, translating lessons learned into department-specific sales and options plans that are balanced in pricing, end-use, and phasing.
  3. OTB Management: Optimize Open-to-Buy across departments, including pre-season planning, line flow forecasting, and in-season trading decisions.
  4. Sale Planning: Collaborate with Merchandisers to identify products, set pricing, manage sale strategies, and secure timely approval with Commercial Finance.
  5. Stock Distribution: Oversee stock allocations to maximize sales opportunities across all channels, including online and physical stores.
  6. Analysis: Compile monthly lessons learned and strategic commentary, including promotional analysis, product performance, and insights.
About You:

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in merchandising, team leadership, and strong analytical skills. The ability to foster collaboration and maintain a results-oriented approach is essential.
