Smiths News seeks an Instore Merchandiser for Downham Market. You’ll manage POS placements, stock replenishment, and audits across your territory, ensuring displays stay on-brand and visually impactful. You will plan your visits, work autonomously, and build strong store relationships.

Location requires a Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. The role offers flexible hours averaging 5–20 hours per week on a part-time contract with holiday pay included.

Merchandiser – Downham Market
Flexible, part time contract
Pay Rate – £14.24 Per hour (includes Holiday Pay)

Travel time and mileage are payable subject to eligibility

Plus: Location Allowance if applicable

Full UK Driving licence plus use of vehicle required.

About the role

As an Instore Merchandiser, you’ll bring products to life out in the world on the shop floor. You’ll own your territory, taking care of point-of-sale placement to stock replenishment and auditing. You’ll take pride in first-class standards, creating and maintaining visually impactful displays, and building strong relationships with store colleagues and managers. You’ll be the person who keeps everything in order, ensuring that stock is replenished and that displays stay on-brand. You’ll take charge of your own cost-effective journey plan and make every visit count. If you’re someone who thrives on autonomy and loves to engage with others, this role is for you.

Previous Merchandising experience would be advantageous but not mandatory. However, you will need:

• A friendly confident personality with a can do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills, high integrity and reliable.
• To be located within 15 miles of advertised area.
• Ability to work on own initiative and make the right decisions under pressure.
• Full commitment to providing excellent customer service.
