Smiths News is seeking an Instore Merchandiser in Canterbury on a flexible, part-time contract. You will own your territory, arranging POS placements, replenishing stock, and auditing displays to stay on-brand.

Build strong relationships with store colleagues and managers and plan cost-efficient visits to maximise impact. You should be friendly, reliable and communicative, with a can-do attitude and a commitment to excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous Merchandising experience would be advantageous but not mandatory.
• Friendly, confident personality with a can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills, high integrity and reliability.
• Located within 15 miles of the advertised area.
• Ability to work on own initiative and make right decisions under pressure.
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Responsabilités

Merchandiser – Canterbury
Flexible, part time contract
Pay Rate – £14.24 Per hour (includes Holiday Pay)

Travel time and mileage are payable subject to eligibility

Plus: Location Allowance if applicable

Full UK Driving licence plus use of vehicle required.

About the role:

As an Instore Merchandiser, you’ll bring products to life out in the world on the shop floor. You’ll own your territory, taking care of point-of-sale placement to stock replenishment and auditing. You’ll take pride in first-class standards, creating and maintaining visually impactful displays, and building strong relationships with store colleagues and managers. You’ll be the person who keeps everything in order, ensuring that stock is replenished and that displays stay on-brand. You’ll take charge of your own cost-effective journey plan and make every visit count. If you’re someone who thrives on autonomy and loves to engage with others, this role is for you.
