Smiths News is seeking an Instore Merchandiser covering the Cambourne area on a flexible, part-time contract. You will manage on-floor displays, stock replenishment and audits, ensuring displays stay on-brand and inviting. The role requires a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, with travel between stores as needed.

You will own your territory, work autonomously, and build strong relationships with store staff, while maintaining high standards and cost-effective journey planning.

Qualifications

• Previous Merchandising experience would be advantageous but not mandatory.
• You must have the right to work in the UK.
• Friendly confident personality with a can do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills, high integrity and reliable.
• Located within 15 miles of the advertised area.
• Ability to work on own initiative and make the right decisions under pressure.
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Merchandiser – Cambourne
Flexible, part time contract
Pay Rate – £14.24 Per hour (includes Holiday Pay)

Travel time and mileage are payable subject to eligibility

Plus: Location Allowance if applicable

Full UK Driving licence plus use of vehicle required.

About the role:

As an Instore Merchandiser, you’ll bring products to life out in the world on the shop floor. You’ll own your territory, taking care of point-of-sale placement to stock replenishment and auditing. You’ll take pride in first-class standards, creating and maintaining
visually impactful displays, and building strong relationships with store colleagues and managers. You’ll be the person who
keeps everything in order, ensuring that stock is replenished and that displays stay on-brand. You’ll take charge of your own
cost-effective journey plan and make every visit count. If you’re someone who thrives on autonomy and loves to engage with
