Job summary

Smiths News in Strood is seeking an Instore Merchandiser to bring products to life on the shop floor. You will own your territory, manage point-of-sale placement, replenishment and audits, and build strong relationships with store colleagues and managers.

This flexible, part-time role offers 5–20 hours per week with holiday pay, a location allowance where applicable, and the chance to work autonomously while helping retailers stay on-brand.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising experience would be advantageous but not mandatory.
• You will need a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Be located within 15 miles of the advertised area.
• Ability to work on your own initiative and under pressure.
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Own your territory, managing point-of-sale placement and stock replenishment.
• Create and maintain visually impactful displays and audit store layouts.

Flexible, part time contract
Pay Rate – £14.24 Per hour (includes Holiday Pay)

Travel time and mileage are payable subject to eligibility

Plus: Location Allowance if applicable

Full UK Driving licence plus use of vehicle required.

About the role:

As an Instore Merchandiser, you’ll bring products to life out in the world on the shop floor. You’ll own your territory, taking care of point-of-sale placement to stock replenishment and auditing. You’ll take pride in first-class standards, creating and maintaining
visually impactful displays, and building strong relationships with store colleagues and managers. You’ll be the person who
keeps everything in order, ensuring that stock is replenished and that displays stay on-brand. You’ll take charge of your own
cost-effective journey plan and make every visit count. If you’re someone who thrives on autonomy and loves to engage with
