Job summary

Smiths News is seeking an Instore Merchandiser to bring products to life on the shop floor across your designated area. You’ll manage POS placement, stock replenishment and audits to ensure displays stay on-brand and engaging for customers.

You will work on a flexible, part-time contract with responsibility for your own route, collaborating with store colleagues to deliver high standards and great service. Prior experience is helpful but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Mercandising experience preferred but not required.
• Must have full UK driving licence and use of vehicle.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Able to work autonomously and deliver great store standards.

Responsibilities

• Own your territory, manage point-of-sale placement and stock checks.
• Replenish stock and audit displays to stay on-brand.
• Create visually impactful displays and build relationships with store staff.
• Plan efficient visits and cost-effective routes to maximise coverage.

Flexible, part time contract
Pay Rate – £14.24 Per hour (includes Holiday Pay)

Travel time and mileage are payable subject to eligibility

Plus: Location Allowance if applicable

Full UK Driving licence plus use of vehicle required.

About the role:

As an Instore Merchandiser, you’ll bring products to life out in the world on the shop floor. You’ll own your territory, taking care of point-of-sale placement to stock replenishment and auditing. You’ll take pride in first-class standards, creating and maintaining
visually impactful displays, and building strong relationships with store colleagues and managers. You’ll be the person who
keeps everything in order, ensuring that stock is replenished and that displays stay on-brand. You’ll take charge of your own
cost-effective journey plan and make every visit count. If you’re someone who thrives on autonomy and loves to engage with
others, this role is for you.

About you

Previous Merchandising experience would be advantageous but not mandatory. However, you will need:

• A friendly confident personality with a can do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills, high integrity and reliable.
• To be located within 15 miles of advertised area.
• Ability to work on own initiative and make the right decisions under pressure.
• Full commitment to providing excellent customer service.
